Megboutique.com scoops 2008 Quest Business Achievement Awards   On Friday 15th August things were getting a bit noisy at the Quest Newspaper Business Achiever Awards at Brisbane Technology Park. Categories of Casual Dining, Business Services, Hair and Beauty had been announced with much fanfare and enthusiastic applause. At the Megboutique.com table, the great entertainment by Harvest Rain Theatre and lovely food was being enjoyed, but a little nervously.   The Fashion Award had been hotly contested over the voting period with 5 rivals – some designers, some retail outlets; so when Megboutique.com was announced the 2008 winner, the shock and delight was about equal! With Rosemary McCall, the director and creator of Megboutique.com far away in New York City ordering the latest stunning fabrics and picking up inspiration for the new season, it was Carol Hardy, the Marketing Manager who walked up to the stage shakily to accept the award. The reception was thunderous; it felt amazing to know we had some very loyal fans not only in the audience, but also out there in the suburbs showing your confidence in us with your votes.   Thank you to all of you who voted, and who continue to support us our local fashion label. We can’t wait to see what Rosemary has brought back from New York!
